Your Role
As an Infant & Toddler Teacher, you'll help create a classroom where children feel secure, families feel welcomed, and learning happens naturally through curiosity, exploration, and meaningful relationships.
What You'll Bring
- Experience working with infants and/or toddlers
- A warm, dependable, and team-oriented approach
- A genuine passion for helping young children learn and grow
Required
- Child Development Associate (CDA), Florida Staff Credential, or equivalent recognized credential (or the ability to obtain within the timeframe required by Florida licensing and center policy, if applicable)
- Experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed early childhood setting
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- A nurturing, dependable, and relationship-centered approach to working with children and families
Preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Florida DCF training completed
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience with curriculum planning, child assessments, and family engagement

Compensation: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour

EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES 4 ALL
Gainesville for All was created in 2016 with the help of the Gainesville Sun and the Community Foundation of North Central Florida to seek systemic solutions to problems of race and poverty in the region.
It has had successes in each of its areas of focus, which include education, criminal justice, health and transportation and family support. In the spring of 2021 it played a significant role in winning approval by the city and county of its 2017 recommendation for free RTS fares for riders under age 18 and over age 65.

Gainesville For All was formed to address racial and economic inequities that hurt people and hinder our community from achieving its best potential. It is an initiative of The Gainesville Sun in partnership with the Community Foundation of North Central Florida.
